What will you do?
As a Program Management Support, you take responsibility for making and maintaining manufacturing team project schedule. It is expected of you to plan and prepare project team meetings and issue meeting minutes and follow up on action’s backlog with the team. As a Program Management Support, you will also create and maintain Obeya room (Single cross-functional project management environment). You will organize and facilitate X-functional workshops for layout and shops build up. Site Layout updates, introduction, and facilitation of BIM (building information modelling) workshops will be in you scope as well. You will act as main interface for collecting and aligning manufacturing needs and expectations for the plant central office design and set up. You will also be responsible for presentation and demos preparation support. You will support PM in general admin tasks (travel arrangements and expenses reports, etc) as well.
This position will be based in Kosice, Slovakia and will be key part of the core team building up the new Volvo Cars Kosice plant. You will report to the Manufacturing Industrialization Leader for the complete plant and be part of the core interdisciplinary leadership team that has the mission to industrialize the complete plant. Do you fit the profile?
We believe you have a B.Sc. in Engineering and experience in Manufacturing, Civil Engineering or Architecture by leading large-scale projects. You like to work in a team and contribute to a team spirit, but you are also comfortable to deliver alone on your tasks in a self-reliant way. Having good communication skills in English, both spoken and written is important for this position as well. You enjoy facilitating, leading and moderating cross-functional activities/meetings in a structured and effective way. We also believe you are skilled with all basic functions of MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, MicroStation skills are needed as well. Practical experience of managing construction projects and/or building design and engineering is an advantage.
