PROGRAM MANAGER
Job Description
As a Program Manager you collaborate in a team of up to five other program managers to design and lead our student’s learning journeys. Together with your team you are responsible for designing, managing, facilitating and administrating the student’s learning journeys throughout the time they are enrolled.
As a Program Manager you are a learning designer and a creator of experience based learning, a motivator, a creator and organizer. Together you will work for interdisciplinary learning experiences between different programs and fields of specialization, making our learners real world ready. The programs we’re currently running are:
- AI Business Consultant
- Business Developer on campus
- Business Developer distance learning
- Content Developer
- Data Analyst
- Design Lead
- Digital Creative
- Frontend Developer
- Motion Designer
- Motion Creative
- UX Designer
- XR Creative Developer (from August 2022)
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are a creative learning designer and facilitator of experience based learning. We think you are a driven, goal oriented leader with a genuine interest in people´s personal and professional development. You can plan, develop, and follow up both business activities, individuals, and teams with the aim of delivering world class learning experiences.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Collaborate with your team to facilitate, plan and organize the learning journey for the students.
- Project planning, administration and execution and follow up of assigned learning concepts within Hyper Island Programs.
- Actively grow and maintain the professional network consisting of speakers, trainers and leaders from the creative industry.
- Managing various projects such as Cross Program workshops.
- Continuous work with budget, forecast and cost control.
- Prepare for, perform, document and follow up on quality assurance activities.
- Participate in the process of applying and reapplying for new and current programs.
- Plan and lead the yearly Program Development process for the program.
- Support student recruitment and marketing.
- Collaborate with the support service team to ensure administration of the student's journey.
Requirements:
- Higher education or vocational education in a relevant field.
- Experience or strong interest in experience based learning design.
- Experience in project management, leadership and/or pedagogy.
- A genuine interest for education and individual development.
- A genuine interest in digital/tech and design.
- High communication skills.
- Ability to manage constant change.
- Native/near native in English written and verbal.
- Experience with educational leadership, process facilitation, change management, coaching, operational management or equivalent is a plus.
We are aiming for a diverse group of program managers with multiple different backgrounds.
Terms
We’re opening up for several positions:
Full time, continuous employment contracts , 25 days holiday per year (pro rata). 6 months probation, 2 months notice period (2 weeks during probation) for external applicants, leading to a permanent employment. Start date: From February 2022. Alternatively temporary, one year contracts with the possibility for extension.
You will report directly to the program manager team lead Veronica Thunborg.
