Your role

We are looking for a Program Manager for Baseline Program ERIEYE through product development as well as improving way's of working. The Program resides within the Product Unit Mission System. Product Unit Mission System is responsible for profit & loss of the Airborne Mission System portfolio, e.g. GlobalEye including both systems sales and services business.

We believe that the best solution to reach long term business strategic goals and optimize commercial product profitability is by harmonizing product development and maintenance through management of a base program, where activities are coordinated to meet roadmap goals and target costs.



As a Program Manager you are responsible for:

Managing the Baseline Program ERIEYE according to a defined budget
*

Executing the Program according to the product roadmaps and release plan
*

Manage and coordinate all included development programs and its Sub Programs
*

Coordinate supply chain and production activities for the base product
*

Serving Customers through delivery agreements with short lead times and cost efficiency



Some of the challenges will be to:

Implement the plans to meet strategic business goals for growth and profitability

Develop platform products with sustainable architecture for high information assurance and continuous deployment
*

Secure Ecosystem with suppliers and partners
*

Continuous investment in innovative technology to be able to stay ahead of our competitors



Your profile

You have a documented leadership experience with focus on business and customer understanding. You have a financial understanding and experience from program/ project management and/or product development.

You have a recognized drive and are always searching for ways to improve yourself and your area of concern.

You have good social skills and enjoy building networks both internally and externally.

You are the kind of person that likes to connect the dots in terms of how the organization works and find ways to improve ways of working.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.





What you will be a part of

Business area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and cyber security.



Business Unit Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab's ground based and naval radar systems, as well as airborne surveillance solutions and fighter radar. The business unit is also responsible for missile data links and laser range finders. The unit has around 1100 employees and offices around the world, with the largest sites being Gothenburg (SE) and Syracuse (US).



Working within Program Management for development of Saab's radar and sensors portfolio will put you in the sweet spot between marketing and technology. The market for radar systems is in change with more digital products and increased need for continuous development of new capabilities, our products need to meet our customers requirements today and in the future. In addition to that our products are expected to be in service for at least 30 years.
