Program Manager IT - Connected Car IT Development

The department Conneced Car IT Service Development (CCITS) have the responsibility for starting up, prepare and drive all Connected car IT Projects. We also develop and maintain project methodology supporting IT in car project deliveries (ändrade ordning på dessa). We lead development of software used together with our cars, we develop services that enhance our product offering. We also support future innovation in many areas and run IT operations of all services required outside of our cars.
As a Program Manager IT you will be responsible for setting up and managing the IT program related to car deliveries and taking on the role as Unit Program Leader IT in car projects. You will ensure that projects are organised and executed in a consistent manner and fulfilled within established standards. You will also participate in development of working procedures, be responsible for alignment tasks cross-functional and act as ambassador for Group IT CCITS towards our surroundings. This will provide a good opportunity for both personal development and possibility to expand the internal corporate network as well as reaching outside of Volvo Car Group.
Main responsibilities
* Ensure that the overall program structure and program management processes enable the project teams to successfully complete their work
* Ensuring that the project deliverables can be integrated into the programs end product, service, result and business benefits
* Program stakeholder management, including identify stakeholders, understand needs and manage expectations over the whole program lifecycle
* Ensure alignment of the individual project plans, with the program goals and benefits
* Responsible for the program budget
* Reporting to and managing expectations together with related Car programs
Required qualifications
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
* Experience in Program Management Professional (PgMP®) or equivalent
* More than eight years documented experience from leading large projects or programs, involving all phases and all Program or Project Management knowledge areas
* Experience from reporting and communication to executive management stakeholders on regular basis
* Experience from managing relations with several suppliers in an overall solution delivery
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Experience as a manager or leadership experience from Automotive, or other product company is meritorious

* Broad view both of program objectives and organisational culture
* People skills, especially diplomatic skills
* Strong communication skills to deal with various stakeholders
* Leadership skills and a strategic visioning
