Program Office Manager within Powertrain

The Powertrain Planning and Coordinator team is a part of Quality & Program Management department, supporting the Powertrain project team to deliver VCC projects. We work cross functionally within Research and Development, purchasing and manufacturing. Tasks that we undertake are various, both at a detail level as well as from a holistic perspective. This ensures that every day is both challenging as well as stimulating.
As Program Office Manager you are working cross-functionally inside and outside of powertrain means that you will establish and develop relationships with engineers, project managers, purchasing, manufacturing and even external contacts in connection to powertrain engineering systems. In this position you will therefore build and maintain a large personal network. It will be within your role to assist the Chief Program Engineer with co-management of all program related tasks and with development of the program management prerequisites to execute the Powertrain program. Main responsibilities
* Be the go-to-person in the Powertrain Unit program
* Perform as acting the Chief Program Engineer when necessary
* Take lead in securing that all deliveries from the unit program are contained according to decided working procedures, timing and targets
* Take lead in the dialogue with the Process Management Team to improve the working processes related to the Unit program management
* Lead Program Core Team activities
* Secure that all decided working methods & processes are implemented in the program and develop and adapt unique working process within Unit program team
* Secure that all program prerequisites are available for the team
* Manage the program database structure & documentation
* Manage the Agenda, Minutes and Decision log for decision meetings on Powertrain program level
* Manage the Job request prerequisites and communication within Powertrain
* Manage & coordinate Industrial program team development
Required qualifications
* Technical university degree, engineering civil, mechanical or electrical back-ground
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Documented leadership qualities and experiences
* Proven coordination / project management skills
* Analytical skills and planning experience

* You are a great communicator and have excellent corporation skills
* Good administrative capacity
* Ability to take initiatives and show drive for results
* Positive, structured, analytical and pro-active mind set
* Great communication skills
* Self-managed, while being a good team player
