Plan International Sweden are looking for a Program Officer to our Programme and Partnership department who will support responsible Program Managers with the development and quality assurance of our projects. The position also includes supporting processes with follow-up, reporting and evaluation.
As Program Officer you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Follow-up narrative and financial reports.
- Prepare applications, review concept notes and proposals.
- Provide support to emerging problems affecting implementation, compliance and/or quality.
- Lead on specific assignments related to impactful programming as prioritized by supervisor.
- Participate in the MEAL task force contributing to knowledge management and learning
We are looking for a candidate with:
- An academic degree in in political science, law, human rights, social science or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in a relevant field of work.
- Excellent writing, editing, administration, and communication skills
- Knowledge of project cycle management and grant management
- Knowledge/interest of monitoring, research and evaluation
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of child rights-based programming, donor requirements, financial management principles and mechanisms.
- Fluency in English is required and professional knowledge of Swedish, Arabic, French and/or Spanish a strong merit

About the position
The position is a temporary position and a full-time basis which corresponds to 37.5h/week. The position is based in Stockholm. The position includes travel to countries where Plan International Sweden has program cooperation.
