Program Purchaser

We are looking for a Senior Buyer who will be a member of the Program Purchasing department for Platform Carton Value, Carton Bottle and Carton Economy, belonging to the Supplier Management Capital Equipment organization.

You will manage purchasing activities and buy according to the Product Development programs/projects' requirements, ensuring the best purchasing support.The work will include travel.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Organize, manage and drive all purchasing activities related to programs/ projects assigned to you.
- Drive sourcing and contracting activities according to Supplier Management process and in alignment with the overall Supplier Management Strategy.
- Negotiate all purchasing terms and conditions related to programs/projects you are responsible for.
- Support Project Manager with overall cost target follow up
- Secure that relevant suppliers deliver on time, with right quality and with the support of the Total Quality organization
- Procurement of prototype material to the projects and follow up of Purchase orders you are responsible for.
- Ensure that the programs/project managers are updated with any kind of supply and cost issues related to the program/projects
- Ensure that the programs/projects, you are responsible for, achieve the milestones, the cost target and the requested development timing.


Kvalifikationer

As a person you are able to create and manage strong personal relations at a professional level.You are an experienced purchaser with a good technical knowledge and you like to work in a development program/project.Your verbal and written communication is clear and concise with both team members, colleagues, internal stakeholders and with suppliers.Furthermore you have integrity and are a self motivated team player.

You have a degree in Economy or Engineering (Mechanical Engineering will be a plus) and you are skilled in English, both written and spoken.
You have at least 2 years of experience in purchasing within a mechanical, packaging or automotive company.You are skilled in: purchasing of metallic parts, suppliers management, negotiation and cost analysis.
