The Department Test Objects coordinates and control test objects as well as Analysis and Verification (A&V) work for all Powertrain programs. We control, order and produce all engines for R&D test fleets from concept phase to VP series. We also control and coordinate all updates, software and hardware, for all R&D active test objects (vehicles and rigs). The Program A&V management group is managing all test objects at Powertrain and secure that we have a verification plan for all programs. The group consist of 12 dedicated team members and we are now looking for a Program Verification Manager to join our team.

As Program Verification Manager (PVM) you will be an important part of Program A&V Management with a broad contact network and cooperation work cross functional R&D units. You will secure that all verification activities are carried out according to plan and that test objects are used efficiently. You will furthermore ensure that all verification work is synchronised with other affected units such as Chassi, Electrical, KB, Service, Manufacturing, Purchase, etc.

Main responsibilities

* Order and coordinate test objects
* Prioritise, optimise and synchronise all verification work to be carried out
* Ensure all customers have full understanding of which delivieries that will be made in aspect of verification results
* Order and coordinate all prototype engines for R&D together with SPL-test object
* Ensure the work is carried out according to our defined processes in related system (Lotus Notes, VQDC, Lab95,POS,TCr, etc) and propose improvements on these
* Be part of program management team and report to CPL/UPL

Required qualifications

* B.Sc. university degree or equivalent experience
* Wide vehicle knowledge combined with good technical knowledge of powertrain
* Good understanding of R&D processes
* English, both written and spoken
* Driving license, B-level
* Experience from verification/test work is meritorious
* Experience of program management/leadership is meritorious

* Ability to build relationships and networks
* Good communication and social skills
* Well-developed planning and coordination skills
* Ability to operate in a frequently changing environment - both in terms of technology, strategies and business set-up
* Team player with analytical skills
