Program Verification Manager, Vehicle Engineering

Vehicle Engineering is responsible for assignments from concept study to production launch. The departments' main function is to balance the system solutions in the car, attribute requirements, leading the analysis- and verification process across R&D for virtual and physical vehicles in all projects including AVN, priorities and optimizations. They are also in charge of managing the test object process.
The section Analysis and Verification Management consists of a group of 20 employees within Vehicle Engineering with the overall objective to secure analysis and verification activities in vehicle development projects across R&D. The team leads projects through the whole development phase, from start up until launching, to deliver a verified product within given frame. They are working with vehicle programs, decoupled development tasks, unit programs and architecture studies. As a Program Verification Manager (PVM) you are in charge of managing and guiding the team in choice of verification methods such as CAE, model based CAE, system test, rig test and complete vehicle tests in different investigations and projects. The PVM is also responsible for securing a verified product at all relevant gates until production start and specifying and ordering physical and virtual test objects.
Main responsibilities
* Create Program Verification Plan
* Lead verification plan to secure verified products, both using SW and HW
* Create, drive and lead test car planning per serie during project time
* Lead compatible test plans between system and complete vehicle testing
* Technical project responsibility for classified rules regarding test objects
* Responsible for that series demand is updated during project phase
Required qualifications
* University degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge obtained by practical experience
* Good knowledge from the overall product development process, VPDS and from automotive working methods CAE, planning, analysis & verification
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Driving license level B
* Experience from SW development or integration of SW and HW is preferred
* Experience from verification or coordinating/planning work is meritorious
* A broad experience from different technical areas is an asset
* International experience is a merit
* Good practical and theoretical vehicle knowledge is a merit
