Programme Manager

The Program Department within Business Ground Combat feature Programme managers for all Customer Contracts regarding product family's Carl-Gustaf, AT4 and NLAW. As a Programme manager, you will be responsible for sales, cash-flow, project margin and profitability. You will also have an important role in the developing offers to our customers, responsible for calculations of manufacturing costs.



We invests in products based on the demand in the market, with technology at the forefront. Our products have a high demand on the market and we have a broad international customer base.

As Saab intends to establish a company with production outside Sweden, we are looking for a Programme Manager to lead a project regarding the transfer of technology and knowledge for license production of selected products. - are you the one we are looking for?





Your role

As Programme Manager you are responsible for carrying out customer assignments (orders), for the most part by foreign customers, and/or responsible for the implementation of self-financed product development. The content of the assignments varies; it can be development assignments, production and/or transfer of technology for license production. You typically coordinate an order with the help of a project manager and project resources from different departments and with the support of a program quality manager - but you become the main contact with the customer (external or internal).

The program will be planned and implemented in collaboration with the company CEO, a local project manager and responsible programme manager for ongoing business.



The following task is some of the activates you will lead or support as programme manager:

* Establish Work Breakdown Structure and Master Time Schedule for the Transfer of Technology and setup of facilities
* Support the establishment of the company
* Obtain the required manufacturing licenses
* Customize production processes
* Participate in prospecting premises
* Acquisition, Commissioning and Qualification of actual production setup
* Training of Production Management, Quality Management and Staff
* Establish a local supply of materials and components
* Series Production Qualification



Your profile

We believe that you have several years of experience in running technically complex projects. You have a Bachelor or Master degree in relevant College education. We also believe that you have a passion to reach goals, as part of the team, deliver according to plan and have a great interest in learning new things.

As a person, you are a good listener and driven communicator, especially in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.



Your language skills in Swedish and English are of course of high quality. For this role, it is of course a prerequisite that you can coordinate resources and take responsibility.



To successfully carry out the program a lot of travels will be required also establishment of production outside Sweden is desirable.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
