Your Role

As a Programme Quality Manager, you work closely with one or more Programme Managers; a Programme Manager has the overall responsibility for the contract execution assigned to him/her. As Programme Quality Manager your main assignment is to ensure that deliveries to customers fulfill (exceed) customer's expectations regarding quality, through mainly quality assurance (preventive) activities.



The main tasks are:

* Overall responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a specific contract/program
* Act as Customer representative concerning quality, including performing activities such as LAT (Lot Acceptance Test)
* Flow down customer and other stakeholders quality requirements
* Compile and maintain Contract Quality Plans
* Approve, or if necessary reject, deliveries to customers
* Perform/Host customer audits with respect to the Contract at hand
* Cooperate with and support Quality resources from operations within programs/projects



Your Profile

We believe that you have several years of experience in production, purchasing and/or development together with an experience in quality matters.

As a person, you are a good listener and a driven communicator, especially in the collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will have contact with customers in terms of both written correspondence and meetings with the customer. This will require an understanding and respect for other cultures and values.



Required skills

* Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering or equivalent
* Minimum five years of relevant industry experience
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Driving license, ability and will to travel both domestic and international travels
* Interest in operational excellence and developing organizations



Desired skills

* Knowledge in management/quality systems and quality standards
* Experience from defense industry in corresponding or similar role
* Experience from working with international stakeholders
* Audit experience and/or experience from improvement work



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Business Unit Ground Combat, is primarily responsible for marketing, sales, contract executions and product management concerning the product families Carl-Gustaf, AT4, NLAW and BILL. This includes responsibility for invoicing, cash flow, gross margin and the quality and profitability of the products. We invest in product development based on the needs of the market, with cutting edge technology. Our products are popular in the market and we have a broad international customer base.
