Project accountant

Position: Project Accountant
Reports to: Project Director and Project Manager
Location: Stockholm
You will be responsible for the accounting in the projects, facilitate for contractors and suppliers in economical questions but also correct and advise how to improve.


Responsibilities:
Below is examples of core areas but not limit to the role.
1. Mark and code invoices correctly so cost controlling can be done accurately
2. You will work close with both QS and cost controller to optimize follow up.
3. Prepare and submit invoices to the client.
4. Check all invoices is approved (signed) by the person who have ordered the service or material, before Project Manager and Project Director release the payment.
5. Recording cash flow and chasing the production for verification so invoicing not become delayed.
6. Reject uncompliant and wrongly stated invoices.
7. Facilitate payment of invoices.
8. Improve the project financial processes and regulations and give all the project members proper trainings and instructions.
9. Assist the project manager with planning and execution of project related activities.




Requirements:
1. Accounting degree with construction knowledge or experience
2. Excellent speak & written in English . Talk and communicate in Chinese is a plus.
3. Result orientated and problem solving capabilities. Is persistent all the time and like structure.
4. Minimum five years’ experience of accounting.
5. High ethic.
6. Like to be a part of a project team and add value without self-interest.
