Our team is responsible of components such as wiring harnesses, batteries, switches, starters, alternators, fuses, cables and much more. We are also the main interface towards the supplier base of said components. We belong to the Electromobility, Autonomous and Electronics department within Group Trucks Purchasing located in Lyon (France) and Göteborg (Sweden).

As we are a truly global and diverse company, most of your meetings and emails will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English. To qualify for the position, you have some years of purchasing experience, preferably in automotive, with adequate academic education: Master of Science or Business Administration.


What is the job?


At this position you would be responsible for components within the Power Management and Rotating electronics segment. You would be working closely with the segment leaders to carve out the strategy and realize its implementation. In the long run contributing to the success of the Volvo Group in managing the industry transformation we are experiencing.


You are our purchasing interface towards internal stakeholders and suppliers in your segments during the entire project phase. Together with the purchasing and cross-functional network, you will proactively drive all relevant activities, use all needed tools, and means to continuously secure a best-in-class supplier QDCF-TSR performance. You will be accountable for the QDCF-TSR performance, securing targets are met and maintained on your portfolio.
