At the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering our students are studying to be for example innovators, entrepreneurs, illustrators, communications officers, network technicians and engineers. Here we have the research specialisations of Embedded Systems, and Innovation and Product Realisation. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.

Position description
MDH is through Embedded Systems the coordinating organization of a set of European projects of different kinds. CIRCLE LAB is an ERASMUS+ project with 9 European partners, VeriDevOps is an ICT project within the Horizon 2020 frame program, with 8 European partners and AIDOaRt which is a large ECSEL project with 30 European partners and mixed funding. Embedded Systems is also part of other large projects and aiming at more large European projects in different programs.The positions will partly be for project coordination of current projects (CIRCLE LAB, AIDOaRt and VeriDevOps), partly for project management and participation of other large projects as XIVT (ITEA3), DAIS and InSecTT (ECSEL), partly for proposal management for European projects within Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.


• Project management of VeriDevOps, participating in the global co-coordination team of the project.

• Member of the coordination team of the action and the consortium
• Coordinate contract-related activities across the project;
• Responsible of the financial status of the project: EU and National budget
• Dissemination, presenting the content and the project externally. Monitor the time reporting
• Continuous reporting of risks, publications, dissemination, patents etc
• Periodic reporting of finance and efforts. 
• Monitor cost, travel and time justifications
• Payment calculations and control, Facilitating audits


• Project management of AIDOaRt (H2020-ECSEL-2019-RIA) participating in the the global co-coordination team of the project.

• Grant agreement preparation, like editing the technical annex and introduce changes in the budget etc
• Member of the coordination team of the action and the consortium
• Being part of the PMT weekly meeting
• Coordinate contract-related activities across the project.
• Responsible of the financial status of the project: EU and National budget
• Dissemination, presenting the content and the project externally.
• Monitor the time reporting
• Continuous reporting of risks, publications, dissemination, patents etc to ECSEL
• Periodic reporting of finance and efforts to ECSEL and VINNOVA
• Monitor cost, travel and time justifications, Payment calculations and control
• Facilitating audits


• Project management Project management InSecTT (H2020-ECSEL-2019-RIA) and DAIS (H2020-ECSEL-2020-RIA)

• Local project management, reporting and control
• Responsible of the financial status of the MDH part of the projects: EU and National budget
• Dissemination, presenting the content and the project externally.
• Monitor the time reporting, Monitor cost, travel and time justifications
• Continuous reporting of risks, publications, dissemination, patents etc to ECSEL
• Periodic reporting of finance and efforts to ECSEL and VINNOVA


• Proposal management

• Basically, coordinate new proposals, including:

• Scouting for new, fitting calls
• Network for creating new consortiums, pitching project ideas, collecting contacts at brokerage events, contact new potential partners, organize meetings with new partners etc
• Chasing up new partners, Coordinate beneficiaries and chairing consortia meetings as well as sub-consortia meetings
• Collect participant data and budget requirements.
• Write certain parts of the proposals, as section 3 and 4 in European (currently H2020) proposals
• Be in control of Person Month-tables, Budget, Risks, Deliverables etc.


• Start up new projects



Qualification requirements
The applicant of the position is required to have a master’s degree in science engineering or similar and a documented experience of coordinating a large scale European research proposal, both in the ITEA3 and ECSEL format. It is required to have documented experience of the tasks described above or very similar, since the tasks are urgent and inevitable, in short:


• Writing and coordinating H2020 and especially ECSEL proposals,Project coordination and reporting H2020 and especially ECSEL projects

Merit
Knowledge in several languages is a merit. Also documented ability to graphic design, web design and video editing.
