The Department of Applied IT conducts prominent disciplinary research in Informatics, Interaction Design, Learning, Communication, Cognitive Science, and Visualization in close cooperation with industry and the surrounding community.
Such research aims to develop the individual's knowledge and ability to analyze, understand and manage various aspects of IT, human interaction, and interaction between people and technology.
The department's activities are integrated between Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg and have an interdisciplinary profile where a focus on different aspects of the digitalization of society pervades both research and education as well as utilization.
The Department has approximately 125 employees and is situated at Campus Lindholmen and Campus Johanneberg.
The Division of Language and Communication is now searching for a Project Assistant for a temporary employment (up to two years).
Job description
The candidate should have an interest in new technologies and proven experience in the development and design of mobile applications and web-based solutions. It is desirable if the candidate has an interest in languages, other cultures, and experience from working with people from different countries. The candidate will be engaged in the design and development of mobile solutions for the target group, will participate in data collection and analyses processes.
Qualifications
Experience in development work of mobile applications and / or netbased solutions.
