Project assistants for Transcription (Transkriberare)

The work is part-time transcription of research interviews and legal material in Swedish. The project assistant can decide on the amount of work to take on. Although the work is flexible by hours, it requires staying in project-related deadlines. The work is done remotely.

Requirements

We are looking for people with native/excellent Swedish language skills. You should have excellent knowledge of Swedish grammar as well as perseverance. Fast typing speed is essential (minimum 400 keystrokes / minute). You can test your typing speed at https://10fastfingers.com/typing-test/swedish. The work will be done remotely by using your own computer.

Compensation

Compensation is based on the length of the recording, number of speakers on the recording and the transcription type. The time spent to transcribe one recording hour depends on the person's typing speed (usually around 3-4 hours per recording hour).
