Project assistants: Futures of higher education

About the position
The Department of political science is announcing at least one position as project assistant.

The positions are mainly related to the initiative “LU@375 - Ingenuity and exploration through troubled times”, which is a collaborative project on the future of higher education, and funded through LU Futura. Through a series of short, playful and creative workshops with a wide variety of LU people, we will collect and explore ideas and visions of how higher education might change, and how it might not. With the material generated by these workshops, we will communicate the possible outcomes of trends in higher education in the Swedish context in an accessible and entertaining form; a jubilee-version of LU’s magazine ‘LUM’ from 2041 (please see the project summary for more info).

We are looking for people with a profile that contains, for example:

- Experience with design and implementation of (participatory) futures-oriented methodologies.
- Experience with workshop design and facilitation for diverse stakeholder groups, using online tools
- Familiarity with publication design, editorial and production processes
- Ability to analyse and synthesize workshop outcomes to create outputs suitable for use in continued research
- Familiarity with (design) research methods
- Familiarity with Storytelling / narrative design methods

Qualifications

- Excellent command of English (oral and written)
- Adaptable and proactive, able to work with deadlines and manage workload.
