Department
KA Purchasing organization is responsible for direct and indirect material throughout KA globally. We are a centralized function, supporting our R&D and production organizations within the BAs. In Purchasing Driveline we are app 20 persons with various roles. There is a team of Project Buyers working as a global function with focus on sourcing for our new customer projects and future development programs. The Project buyer is an important role within the cross functional team in Driveline and within Purchasing.

Job profile
. Support sales and engineering with project cost / pricing objectives in close cooperation with the Commodity Buyer and up-to-date process know-how.
. Timely delivery of Purchasing NPI milestones in new projects
. Purchasing team member in KBD projects
. During the project phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the project phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the project phase reviews, or « gate » reviews are supported within the framework of the KBD.
. Secure capacity, pricing and leverage new volumes active sourcing should be done also on carry over parts
. Undertake negotiations with suppliers in coordination with commodity buyers and in line Contribute to the conception of the quotation to the customer; participate in the project team

Candidate profile
. Experience from work in purchasing and/or project function is required. Automotive experiences preferred.
. Well-organized and structured.
. Good communication skills and easy to connect with other people.
. Team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude.
. Able to work in a structured way, both independently and in a team.
. Committed, self starting, taking responsibility, high focus and interest to improve the day-to-day work.
. Solution and result driven approach. Capable to prioritize and flexible in finding solutions
. Self-going, responsibility taking and committed with an interest to improve the day-to-day work
. Fluent in English (oral and written), preferable other languages Knowledge of other languages such as
German, French, Chinese is also valued.
. Good computer skills including MS Office, strong in Excel. SAP experience is desirable.

The position requires a lot of interaction with the different roles in the Purchasing and BA organization as well as externally. The position will be based in one of our purchasing locations (Wuxi/Novi/Goteborg) and you will report to the Global purchasing manager projects.
