You will be part of the Swedish procurement team based in Malmö but embedded in a small functional category team steered from the headquarter in Essen, Germany. We are responsible for procurement in eMobility, heating-, solar- and battery solutions - an innovative and changing market where our work contributes to reducing environmental impact. Our stakeholders are spread across Europe, in particular Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, UK, and CEE, which allows you to build a group wide network, learn a lot about E.ONs organization and work in an international environment.
About the position
As our Project buyer you will be responsible for managing the category of charging technology and hardware for Electric Vehicles, ensuring the best possible solutions being offered to our customers. With a focus on leading and steering our supply chain activities in cross functional project teams you will provide support in all stages of new product and service developments by ensuring the most cost effective and scalable supply chain set up. This means working with end-to-end processes with supplier identification, sourcing, contracting, development and life cycle management. In your daily work you will also:
• Providing support in large CAPEX projects
• Drive TCO optimization and contribute to product/service rationalization
• Use your experience in project management to support the implementation of the new projects, including planning and upfront communication with the supplier base
• Detect, report and analyse market opportunities and their impact on the business up to actively developing new business opportunities through leveraging upstream supplier value propositions and funneling these to the right business stakeholders on the relevant levels
• Coordination of purchasing activities between the project team and international/regional categories
The position is placed in Malmö and traveling nationally and internationally is part of your work.
We are looking for
To thrive and succeed in the role we believe you have a relevant academic degree and several years of experience in procurement as technical buyer, project buyer or category manager. We hope you have experience working in complex procurement, e.g. in the context of large CAPEX projects or experience in collaboration with cross-functional project teams. You also have experience in management of regional and international supplier relations and project management. You are fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
We believe you are a communicative and analytical person who is good at negotiating. Since you will have a close collaboration with your colleagues and stakeholders in Sweden and Europe you appreciate working with others and thrive in an intercultural environment. We also believe that you always have a customer focus, like to create good results and have an entrepreneurial understanding.
