Project & Commodity Buyer at Autoliv Sverige AB

The Purchasing Department at Autoliv Sverige AB is looking for a new Team Member. Your task will be to lead the purchase process within your Commodity and the Project Teams where you are the purchase department's representative.You will of course work closely with the Project Team and other Commodity Buyers as well as the Supplier Quality Engineers apart from that you will be a Team member in your assigned Commodity.Your responsibilities are to lead and initiate negotiations and sourcing decisions for components in your commodity and co-ordinate sourcing in your projects.You will use the strength of Autoliv through coordinated sourcing with the Commodity Teams.The assignment means some travel since the Supplier Base is international and that purchase activities are coordinated within Autoliv Europe.We believe that you have a commercial interest and that you have an engineering/commercial university degree.Preferable you should have experience of commercial work and/or project work.Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage for this position.You must have good knowledge in the English language, skills in other languages are qualifying.
