About the role
You will work as a project purchaser and local commodity buyer within agreed commodity of responsibility. In the role you will be part of a team of four employees and you will report to Team Manager Project Purchase AG. You will initiate and act as project lead for sourcing projects and/or act as purchase sub-project lead for other projects within the company.

The role includes managing RFQ process and introduction of new suppliers and/or components as well as price negotiations. You will also be supporting the local plant with regards to any supply or commercial issues. Some of your other tasks will be to negotiate and prepare supply agreements for signature by accountable manager and handle administrative tasks related to purchase.

To be successful in this role it is important that you can work independently with a flexible approach in a dynamic environment. The role includes some international travels. The position is until further notice and is located in our office in Brännland.

Your profile
You have a Degree in Engineering and/or Economics and some years of work experience within sourcing, sales and/or production engineering preferably in the manufacturing industry. As Ålö operates globally it is required that you can communicate in English both in speech and in writing.

We are looking for someone who has a high level of self-motivation, are well-structured and organized. To succeed in this role, it is important to be a team player and have good communication skills.
