We are looking for a driven project construction manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent factory programs team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing up Northvolt's ETT Giga-Factory and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job:
A Project Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and design to completion. They work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards and specifications.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You be responsible for the overall planning and execution of the construction activities while ensuring that the execution develops according to overall program plan and budget.
You will deliver these capex projects by working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, supporting your end users, and collaborating with construction engineering, procurement and commercial teams.
You will also manage contractors and ensure proper coordination across disciplines. We believe with your great personal skills you manage an effective interface between the different stakeholders on site, QHSE as well as design and commercial management.
Finally, you will handle change management and coordinate purchases in compliance with the established change order and procurement governance.

We believe that you have :
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required. At least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry, is required.
Knowledge and Skills: The Project Construction Manager should have strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should be familiar with industry regulations, project management software, and construction technology.
Certifications: Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are preferred.
Analytical skills: The Project Construction Manager should have excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions. They should be able to evaluate project progress and identify areas where improvements can be made.
Leadership skills: They should have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. They should be able to provide guidance and direction, and make decisions that benefit the project and the team.
