Project Controller at Project Controlling & Analysis (XKA)

One of the main task of Corporate Management and Venture Business (X) is to lead Scania's global and cross functional projects developing new products concerning trucks, busses, engines and related services. Project Controlling & Analysis is organized under the organization Corporate Management and Venture Business and its main focus is providing project managers and general management with financial support, decision material and analysis.

We are currently eager to expand our capacity within the project controlling team to be able to live up to the tough expectations that are put on us.

Tasks
.You will be the co-pilot concerning economy and finance to project leaders in a number of projects of varying size and content. In close collaboration with the project managers you will set and follow up the financial targets in each project. Duties include; project and product cost calculations, profitability calculations, decision material preparation, etc
.You will also support and coordinate relevant line organizations in their work as well as doing sanity-checks and analyses on material delivered to us (product cost /project cost)
.You cooperate with central finance organizations in cost- and resource questions
.The work consists of a lot of ad hoc - everything from small isolated questions to complex analyses connected to our future product portfolio (finance and non-finance related)
.The work is highly cross functional and you will have tight collaboration with people at Market, Purchasing, Production, and R&D in an international environment
.Process- and method-improvement work is something that is also regarded as an important part of the daily tasks
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are curious to see the big picture but still do not shy away from zooming into detail. You have a large industrial understanding and see it as a challenge to connect the dots between technical, commercial and financial matters. You are an engineer or have a master in business (or similar). In addition to this, we see that you have several years of work experience within (and/or) controlling, management consulting, project management or within another analytical field of work. We assume that you have a responsible mind-set in addition to a "can-do-attitude". Most work is conducted in close relation with large parts of the Scania organization, and it is therefore vital that you like working with people and large networks. You are prepared to manage and drive cross functional projects by yourself, is result oriented and have a high capacity for managing duties in several projects at a time. You are fluent in English and Swedish in both speech and in writing. Deep knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is meriting.
