You are reporting to the Group Controller for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality Controller.
You guide the project team in all financial aspects, uses controlling methods in order to install and develop the financial setup regarding the key performance indicators and follow up processes. Therefore, you are a proactive person, with personal drive, good communicator, resilient, and make all parts of the project move forward.You are a star in consolidate and coordinate the financial and nonfinancial KPI evaluation in the various aspects of the program.
And you will develop the necessary business cases in close cooperation with the project leaders and make sure that all contacts to the necessary controlling functions on group and business area level are installed and maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Controlling business partner to the project lead and the project team
- Setup and maintain the contact to all necessary controlling functions in Group operations, Group consumer experience and business areas
- Coordinate and consolidate the financial evaluations of the various complexity reduction programs in the Group.
- Identify the key processes impacting complexity from a financial relevance point of view and translate the key process mapping impacting complexity into financial impacts.
- Investigate the end to end process of parts generation, parts procurement, manufacturing, lifetime usage till parts phase out and introduction of new parts, and translate the process into a financial model.
- Investigate, support and coordinate the end to end finished product portfolio complexity reduction programs and identify the financial saving potentials
- Coordinate the evaluation of the financial implications of potential organizational impacts
- Develop the full cost of complexity model, starting with a pilot factory and afterwards roll it out to all factories of the group.
- Create a standard cost of complexity model per part and product applicable as guidance to the Group product line and operational organization for business decisions
- Develop a systematic approach to turn standard complexity cost per part and product into an actionable cost out activities in business cases and continuous improvement activities.
- In that role, and connected to the overall complexity reduction ambition, you will also act as a key financial support to the ECI (Engineering Change Index) project initiative, that is enabling Electrolux to deliver every year very significant savings in direct material costs.
- University degree in finance or finance/engineering/manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years working experience in operational or product line controlling or senior business analysis on global or business area level.
- Knowledge of operations, commercial and product management processes is a strong benefit for this position
- Ability to develop reporting and analysis structures in a complex global environment
- Strong controlling and analytical capabilities
- Strong communication, teamship and collaboration skills
- Self motivation and reliability.
- Ability to act as a challenging business partner
- Agility and acumen in business decisions
- Fluent English
