Project Controller to Business Unit Saab Training & Simulation

Your role

As a Project Controller you will be a part of the Finance team at Business Unit (BU) Training & Simulation. You will support the Director of Operations UK and be the single point of contact for all financial topics related to the project, including providing financial analysis to ensure the achievement of the financial goals. The project has operations in four countries, with the majority of the operations based in the UK.

The key responsibility areas will include:

* UK Single Source Regulation compliancy
* Reporting - internal and external project reporting
* Proactive work with cost elements
* Forecast and Budget - Sales and Gross margin estimates
* Currency risk and Cash management - identify and manage currency exposure and Cash flows within the project
* Subject matter expert for UK Single Source Contracts during bid preparations, tender phase and customer negotiations
* Other financial tasks within the BU as defined



Your profile

We are looking for a proactive Project Controller with strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others. You will work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders within and outside the finance organization. To be successful in this role and understand the impact of the UK Single Source Regulations you must have integrity with strong analytical and pedagogical skills.

* Preferably, you are a graduate from a Business School/University with some years of experience from either similar assignment or accounting
* Financial understanding and experience from project follow up and/or contract negotiations are highly qualifying. Fluency in English and Swedish is required.



This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
