We are building a state-of-the-art Gigafactory that will be one of the largest cell production facilities in Europe and construction is set to begin in 2023. To make that happen we need the very best to join our in-house Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) team. We are now looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our in-house EPCM team. With the help of a support team you will lead the efforts of Estimating, Cost and Schedule tracking, and Change Management for our EPCM organization. This will include responsibility over managing the PC organization, defining the roles, responsibilities and expectations, developing the procedures and KPI´s to control all scope, cost and schedule aspects of the project in support to the Construction Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the Project Controls organization for all construction responsibilities, including defining the roles, developing the procedures, periodical reporting of KPI´s results company executives, and performing leader responsibilities for the team resources.
- Provide overall project cost, schedule, estimating, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertise in the Construction projects.
- Review and report project cost/schedule with ongoing project analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and change management
- Control project cost/schedule outcomes by recommending and deploying management interventions with support of the Program, Project Management, Engineering, Procurements teams, executed through the Clients Owners Representatives and Contractors
- Monitoring and appraising the performance of the Contractors and Consultants in the areas of cost control and progress measurement.
- Develop cost and schedule estimates to support risk and opportunity assessments, Project funding, Project reviews, and ad hoc requests.
The person we are looking for is a team player, that loves to be in an international environment where good relationships and stakeholder management is key to achieve results. We believe that you are highly organized and result driven. You act proactively and have a can-do attitude that goes beyond expectations.
We believe that you have:
- BSc/MSc Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Project Control.
- Have experience as Project Controls Manager, Schedule or Cost Management for Big projects for a leading organization.
- Fluency in English. Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish.
- Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, Internal Project Controls Tools, Oracle Business tools (Primavera, Unifier), Procore.
- Experience within RS Means, Risk Management tools.
- Experience developing/using digital tools and enterprise software, not already mentioned above, in a cost estimating and/or cost engineering context.
