As a project coordinator within our team, you will be an important part of our success. You will have the opportunity to influence the design, structure, leadership, and flow of information between the group and the projects. This is us
The group Acoustics Complete Vehicle consists currently of seven test engineers, two technical managers, three mechanics, and one Ph.D. and you would be the project coordinator to keep track of all project deliveries and support the group with project information. The group is involved in developing the trucks of the future regarding sound, both externally and internally in the cab. We are responsible for the vehicle's acoustic properties and support design groups and development projects with testing and analyses from measurements. The acoustics on complete vehicles must have the prerequisites to meet legal requirements, which we verify, as well as that the cab's sound environment meets Scania's high standards.

Your assignment
As a project coordinator, you will plan functional and certification tests in projects related to acoustics. You will be the link between the project and the group. You will have close cooperation with the test engineers within our group, as well as the project manager for the project. An important part of the task is to look ahead through long-term planning and even out peaks in the workload. To succeed in this position, you should follow the development of projects through project meetings and other forums.
Your profile
As a project coordinator for this group, you can see the bigger picture and work cross-functionally throughout our R&D department. You should also be able to switch seamlessly between the holistic perspective and details. In this role, it is important to be able to drive the work forward together with us in a structured way. You are also flexible and can handle multiple tasks in parallel. Improvement work, both within our group and cross-functionally, is an important part of daily work as well as have a technical interest.
We would also like that..
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
You have a few years of experience within the area, preferably from Scania or a similar company.
You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.
Previous experience in coordination is a strong merit.
