Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Are you curious about sustainable transport solutions and want to join a diverse and competent team as a Project Coordinator, then please read further.
Who we are
Our department plays a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of transport solutions by providing the necessary information, tools, and systems for maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades. We work closely with product development, contributing our expertise to design processes, ensuring that service perspectives are considered, and helping Scania's workshop network maximize availability for transport solutions.
We are a dynamic team with diverse backgrounds and expertise, collaborating to share knowledge and support each other in our day-to-day work.
The role
We are now offering an opportunity as a Project Coordinator. This is a central role within our project team, perfect for someone who wants to develop quickly in a fast-paced environment. Whether you're newly graduated or have experience from project management, this role will allow you to grow, take ownership of projects, and contribute to the team's success.
In this role, you will:
• Compile and extract data to create insightful reports and presentations on project status.
• Moderate cross-functional follow-up meetings to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate smaller projects across different phases.
• Lead the development of our internal processes and represent us in cross-functional process improvement initiatives within both TRATON and Scania
With multiple projects running simultaneously and new, exciting ones on the horizon, your ability to manage complexity and prioritize tasks will be key.
We use a range of internal tools and systems that you’ll be trained on, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential. Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint is required, as these tools are vital for data analysis and presentations.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You have a natural ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and understand complex situations, without losing sight of the overall goals.

Key competencies for success in this role include:
Communication: You are confident in facilitating meetings and presenting in English, adjusting your communication style to suit different stakeholders, and effectively conveying project status at various levels within the organization
Managing Complexity: You can handle multiple ongoing projects and complex issues while maintaining a clear overview.
Planning and Aligning: You are skilled in planning and aligning tasks to meet project deadlines.
Improving Work Processes: You have a mindset for optimizing processes and continuously finding ways to improve efficiency.

You are curious, a good listener, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You have the ability to drive your own tasks forward and aren’t afraid to ask for help when needed. If you have experience in product development or project management, that’s a bonus, but we are also open to those eager to learn and grow in the role.
A relevant education from a university is meriting, and previous experience from Scania or TRATON is a plus but not a necessity.
Whether you enjoy diving into the details or seeing the big picture, this role will give you the opportunity to do both.

Your Application
If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, grow quickly, and be part of a supportive, diverse team, we'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your CV, and relevant educational certificates to apply.
Apply as soon as possible, but no later than 5th of September 2024.
Screening and interviews will be performed continuously, and the advert may close before the last application date.
We use logic and personality tests in our recruitment process and a background check might be conducted for this position.
