Project coordinator for the EU-funded project Your language counts. All languages matter in a multilingual society, starting in school

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our efforts in the fields of education, multilingualism and school-related initiatives. In this Erasmus+ project, the Goethe-Institut and its partners aim to promote home language teaching as a model for inclusive school development in Europe.

Your tasks:
You develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets in close coordination with the Project Leader
To achieve the project goals you collaborate closely with project partners and stakeholders, including educational institutions
Partner meetings are planned and conducted by you
The project progress is monitored by you and you prepare regular progress reports and project updates for internal and external stakeholders
Another task is the organization of events
A dissemination strategy and public relations are developped and implemented by you
You are in charge of controlling and reporting and you support the evaluation of project outcomes and impact
Lastly, you ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the project team


Your profile:
You have a university degree, preferably with a focus on philology or linguistics
Strong management skills and intercultural sensitivity characterize you
You are experienced in project management and in the implementation of large-scale (EU) projects
You have already gained experience in controlling public funds
You have a very good command of English and also a good knowledge of German; a multilingual background would be an advantage.
You are very familiar with MS-Office and Office 356
You enjoy working in a team and you have strong organisational skills
You are willing to work flexible hours and to travel occasionally
