About The Graphene Flagship
The Graphene Flagship is a 1,000 million euros research program funded by the European Commission. It brings together academic and industrial researchers to take graphene and related materials from academic laboratories to European society, creating economic growth. new jobs and new opportunities. Chalmers University of Technology has the responsibility for flagship management and administration.

Job description
As a project officer for the Graphene Flagship, your work is to support the flagship leadership. You will be part of the Graphene Flagship Coordination Team and will work together with other project officers, coordinated by the Director and the Head of Administration of the Graphene Flagship. You are an important link between management, project participants and the EU Commission. You work on EU project reporting and administration, and on preparation of project proposals linked to the flagship.

Collection and verification of information from the flagship participants is an important part of your work. You have good knowledge of the EU's regulatory framework and reporting tools, and help project participants in administrative and other formalities. You keep in touch with people internally as well as externally, giving you the chance to create a large network of contacts.

You also provide general IT support to the Management Team, help with the logistics of different meetings and events organised within the flagship. You participate in project meetings and meetings with the EU Commission, which includes some travel (estimated: 4 trips / year, 1-3 days each).

Full-time temporary employment (parental leave substitut).

Your qualifications
- Excellent command of English, written and oral
- Comfortable working with various IT systems
- Meticulous, quality-driven

You have a higher education degree in a relevant subject. You also have experience from technical research or development projects. You have worked with technical texts in English, and are used to compiling information and analyzing reports. You have experience from working with EU research-funded projects, or coordination of EU research project applications.

Your strengths include structuring your own work and communicating clearly about it in speech and writing with project participants and the EU Commission. You speak and write English unhindered; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus. Since we use Office365 extensively, familiarity with that system is desired. As a person, you are responsive, reliable, meticulous and easy to collaborate with. You can independently plan, organize, implement and prioritize your work. Since the work is carried out in close collaboration with project management, colleagues at Chalmers, and other project participants, great importance will be paid to your ability to work in and complement a team.
