In 2018, a brand new 2500m2 bioprocess pilot-scale innovation center opened for business in Uppsala. The facility provides Swedish and international industry, start-ups and academia with an authentic environment to test and verify innovative tools and technologies for the industrial manufacture of biological products. The center also provides an environment for higher level university education.
Testa Center is an initiative between the Swedish government and Cytiva to secure the growth of the life science industry and its manufacturing capabilities. The main objective is to bridge the gap from discovery to industrialization. Government grants of approximately $12M have been received through the Swedish Innovation Agency Vinnova to establish the Center.
The Center organization is currently looking for a Coordinator, who´s main responsibilities are coordination of activities in the Center including administration around project planning and operations; but also support with financial reporting and related processes.
What you'll do:
Coordinate planning and administration of project activities in the Center.
Support with commercial contract, pricing and quotation process.
Responsible for customer billing process.
Handle purchasing of goods and services to the Center.
Prepare and distribute customer surveys and develop related key metrics.
Own the process of tracking capacity usage and prepare and collect data for key operational metrics.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to Vinnova and support Testa Center team in future applications for government funding.
Take lead in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating gaps, providing solutions when possible and identifying and tracking key metrics.
Be a part of the Testa Center team dealing with all kinds of matters ranging from very hands-on duties to planning of activities and outlining future strategy.
The center is frequently visited by opinion leaders, public and trade organizations, as well as customers, and hence planning and coordination of those visits will be part of the tasks.
Who you are
Minimum of 5 years work experience in administration and/or accounting, preferable also with experience from project administration and state aid funding.
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications.
Education in accounting, finance, or other business-related field is a preference.
Ability to independently solve problems of "trouble shooting character".
Swedish and English as a working language.
Self-propelled, goal-oriented and driven to learn new things.
Team player with the ability to work both independently and with others.
High flexibility to switch between projects and tasks.
