We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator for Southnord, a platform dedicated to making space for Black and Afro-Nordic artists. As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our cultural projects and events. The position is at 60% of full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate and manage project activities, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with stakeholders
Conduct research and analysis to identify potential project risks and develop plans to address them
Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Liaise with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting to stakeholders
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the team and stakeholders
Support the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies for projects and events
Attend and participate in project meetings, events, and other activities as required
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field such as business, communication, or project management
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a cultural or arts organization
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience with project management tools and software
Knowledge of cultural and arts programming, and an understanding of the Afro-Nordic arts community
Ability to work in English, both written and spoken
Good international network within the African continent and African diaspora
