Responsibilities
As a project engineer you are responsible for the restraint performance of the product, in this case the inflator, and to develop the product to meet performance and functionality requirements. You create technical reports and presentations and maintain good knowledge about customer specifications, legal requirements, test and conditioning methods, statistical analysis and product manufacturing processes. You will also develop new test methods when needed with support from test engineers. To be successful in this role we see that you are a team player that has a natural ability to socialize and create networks, both internally and externally.

Job tasks:
• Maintain a good internal and a basic external network
• Lead others in improvement of standards (work with continuous improvements)
• Ability and willingness to support other project engineers in project engineer tasks
• Follow Autoliv standards, instructions and routines
• Support a creative and positive atmosphere and improvement culture
• Systematic approach to problem solving (5why, 8D, DoE….).
• Proactively seek tasks and information from project team in order to meet Autoliv and customer requirements

Qualifications
Requirements
• B.Sc or M.Sc in engineering, preferably mechanical or chemical engineering
• Work experience from working in technical projects 
• Ability to take the customer perspective
• Basic presentations skills
• Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
