Project Engineer

AlfaWall Oceanbird AB is a 50/50 joint venture, owned by Alfa Laval and Wallenius but operated as an independent company. We are now looking for a Project Engineer to our team based in Tumba, Stockholm.

Key tasks:
* Work with customer projects with focus on integration, installation, and commissioning of our products
* Propose technical solutions of Wingsail integration based on structural assessments, strength analysis and rules of classification
* Reviewing and managing stakeholder requirements
* Support the project manager with time estimates, planning and reporting
* Support sales with technical input and expertise

Competences:
* Hold a master’s degree in naval architecture or mechanical engineering
* More than 3 years’ experience with strength analysis and structural design in the marine sector
* Knowledge on steel structures and welding
* Experience with technical documentation, 2D and 3D CAD
* Experience with classification societies
* Additional merits, experience of working with hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, programming, or system integration
* Strong team player, you thrive working together with other people and competences in reaching a common goal and contribute to sustainable shipping
* Self-going and self-motivated
