Do you want to energize your career by working in challenging customer projects with advanced power and electrical systems? Grid Automation business unit in Västerås currently has a vacancy for Control System Engineer. In this role you will be part of a team of experienced and supportive engineers and design authority for Control System SCADA solutions of medium complexity, as well as perform SCADA and RTU engineering assignments on multiple projects. Your responsibilities
Design, plan, integrate, test RTU and microSCADA related projects from conceptual design to final build status
Prepare complete RTU and microSCADA project documentation
Support Technical Lead engineers and Project Managers on project plans, review meetings and cost estimates
Conduct functional tests, system tests and factory acceptance testing with customer to prove system readiness
Coordinate engineering discipline across several projects
Responsible to implement Cyber Security systems
Understand interfaces and other subsystem knowledge on Servers, Workstations, routers, firewalls and Switches
Understanding of data communication, industrial data communication protocols

Your background
Preferred Control Systems/Power Systems engineering related education or equivalent
Experience in the engineering discipline of Control Systems/Power System
Interest in database engineering, doing HMIs, configuring and testing computers and interest in industrial data communication
Knowledge of Substation Network Topology design and experience in industry standard communication protocols like IEC61850, IEC 101/104, LON, DNP 3.0, Modbus etc.
Excellent communication skills with both internal and external teams and customers
Knowledge in Cyber Security
Fluency in Swedish, both writing and Speech and preferably also in English
