Job description
We are now recruiting a new Project Engineer to our project team in Gothenburg. This office has a high customer focus and is currently representing the areas of sales and engineering within our automotive division.
As a Project Engineer you will lead, manage, and support all R&D-related activities in our global projects to make sure that deliveries and milestones are met. You will also be responsible for all technical aspects of the products towards the project team, suppliers and customers.
You will work closely with our customers in the automotive industry, which means that travel and on-site support will be required. Your duties will also include:
Represent the voice of the customer internally and act as a link between BENTELER and our customers for all engineering related topics.
In close cooperation with project leader ensure that the project meets the quality, cost and timing goals.
Propose and discuss product design and production concepts together with the customer.
Plan, manage and support prototype production deliveries, occasionally by on-site support.
Support project launches and work with continues improvements within current serial production.

The role includes approximately 30 travel days per year.


Qualifications
The requirements for this job position are:
Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role
Fluent in Swedish and English
Drivers licence
Team player: open-minded, collaborative, ready to help out/support when needed.
Strong sense of urgency
Strong communication and networking skills
