You will be part of HVDC within the Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.
As HVAC Project Engineer you will be part of a technical expert team, in which we work together throughout all phases of our extensive projects. You will be responsible for successful delivery for multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with contract specifications and relevant quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities
You will be mainly responsible for the HVAC/Climate Systems in our HVDC stations
Be well acquainted with the Client’s Technical Specifications and ensuring the climate / HVAC system meet these as well as converter equipment requirements
Responsible for the technical part of tendering and procurement of the HVAC/Climate System
Coordinating end delivery of the HVAC/Climate System
Writing requirement specification and technical descriptions
Reviewing drawings and documents that are related to HVAC/Climate system
Performing site inspection/ commissioning and providing site support
Your background
You hold a University graduate combined with some years of experience of relevant work
Previous experience with HVAC systems is an advantage
Experience in coordination with Multi-disciplinary fields
Able to meet deadlines
On a personal level you are open-minded, flexible and good at organizing and prioritizing
You are ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a requirement
