Ultra Fog is a well known brand manufacturer of High Pressure Watermist Fire Suppression System ? the state-of-the-art in Fire Protection, and increasingly recognised as such in this industry. We are a small company, expanding quickly into international markets: land, offshore, oil&gas, cruise and yachts.
We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer who will be located in our Scandinavian base in Gothenburg. You will have strong engineering and CAD design skills. English language is a MUST as it is our corporate language.
You will principally work to our Engineering Managers, but also assist our Technical Manager who is responsible for R&D.

Essential key requirements for this position include:
- Will be required to engineer the system for the bid and follow through to order/delivery.
-Ability to produce 2D system drawings using AutoCAD, or similar.
-3D / knowledge of Inventor will be an advantage.
-Perform pressure calculations and optimize the system design.
-Prepare the technical (Mech Sys) content of bids, budgetary bids and studies including clarification to technical tenders. The system engineer will represent the company with clients
-Prepare responses to bid clarifications from clients, co-ordinating the input of others as required.
-Attend bid clarification meetings, assisting senior engineers/managers with responses to technical queries raised.
-Assist senior engineers/managers with provision of design authority for projects to ensure that what is built is what was bid, and upon project completion, produce As Built documentation.
-The system engineers will ensure that each of the technical areas of the project are communicated appropriately to ensure the timely execution of the project.
-Ensure that all changes made in the later stages of a project are properly reviewed and controlled.
-Basic electrical knowledge would be a nice to have.
-Experience of working to international standards, any industry would be considered, ideally building, marine or off-shore. If not, in house training will be given.
-Knowledge of low pressure or high pressure systems, would be perfect.
-Excellent understanding of MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
-To provide control of changes through the course of the project.
-Additionally, when workload demands, the job holder may be assigned other duties as defined by the Supervisor.

-Training will be provided both locally AND in our UK engineering office.
-Happy and willing to travel Internationally
-An interest in project management and customer orientated
-Clean driving license is essential
