Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.
The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.
Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Project engineer – Instrument panel & floor console. The Project engineer primarily collaborates internally with project leaders and development engineers.
External communication involves (Tier 1) system suppliers and engineering service providers.
This role is expected to:
- Lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product
development lifecycle.
- Support the interior engineering and development organization with a thorough
theoretical and practical knowledge of the systems.
- Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or
processes and reduce costs.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and
validation methodologies and procedures that concern instrument panel and
floor console.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks with instrument panel
and floor console expertise.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant experience in the work area, preferably in the automotive industry.
- University engineering education, Master of Science degree or equivalent
experience.
- Drivers license B
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of instrument panel and floor
console systems.
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have excellent automotive industry knowledge.
- Ability to plan and prioritize.
