We are convinced that HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology, solutions for energy transfer with direct current at high voltages, is a long-term sustainable solution. The technology is used for energy transmission over long distances and to connect electricity networks with minimal losses. In addition to energy transfer, HVDC technology also alleviates electricity quality problems and can contribute to the stabilization of connected power grids. For offshore wind power or long-distance underwater transmissions, direct current is the only realistic energy transmission alternative.
We are now looking for a Project Engineer Security System who will be a part of our department at TPC. In this position you are leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges. You will provide technical support for design reviewing, testing, installation, and commissioning activities within Security Systems.

Your responsibility
Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements.
Preparation of technical specification documents, conceptual design, development design, BIM models.
Producing, reviewing, and coordinating technical information required with internal stakeholders, vendors & customer.
Validate design confirmation to applicable regulations and technical specification.
Technical evaluation of price bids for procurement.
Planning and follow-up project activities & site activities.
Identify risks and opportunities effectively.

Your Background
Minimum 3 years’ work experience with the industrial design with the industrial design, system integration and commissioning is an advantage.
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the relevant technical area, for example disciplines as electrical, mechanical, automation engineering.
You have a strong interest or skills within Building Management System (BMS) and its sub-systems.
Analytical and communication skills is required towards other stakeholders.
You are confident in working in a complex cross functional team in a global environment.
As a person you are driven by continuous improvements and like to take on unexpected challenges.
Fluency in English is required, written, and spoken alike. Knowing Swedish or other Scandinavian languages is meritorious.
