Project engineer to a large company in Lund

We are looking for a Project Engineer, for an assignment until the turn of the year, for a company in the packaging industry in Lund. We are looking for you that can act as the link between sustainability projects/program driven in Lund with the development team in Italy.

The job consists of:

- Driver of creating impact matrix and new risk lists for Straw Applicators
- Planning of kit-development/release for the different machines and development steps
- Planning and defining tests, measuring methods, together with system specialists
- Responsible of, and if needed, develop new technical solutions for Straw Applicators for paper straws
- Adapt the existing design to solve problems related to paper straws (normal Mechanical Design work)
- Ordering of necessary parts for the different machines/tests.
- Synchronize activities with the team in Italy.


Din profil

You have a strong background as Mechanical Designer and is very good in coordination and communication. In this position, you will have many simultaneous tasks and planning is very important to to secure that deadlines aren't missed. You will need to interact with many stakeholders in Lund and in Italy. Some travels will be required (concerning COVID-19 we do not know when). It's important to have experience from working within the packaging industry.
