On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced senior Project Equipment Expediter!
The Project Expediter position serves as part of the onsite Construction Procurement Team for overall expediting management from PO Award through to final delivery of designated equipment, materials and final vendor data for the project.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor Supplier Progress of Documents, Equipment Materials
- Arrange and chair supplier meetings, maintain action log and follow-up action close-out with both supplier and internal stakeholders
- Arrange shop visits to verify progress including generating of shop expediting reports
- Communicate equipment/material delays and schedule conflicts
- Follow-up with suppliers to determine schedule recovery/mitigation plans, corrective actions to ensure performance
- Monitor activities during manufacturing and shipping
- Help coordinate technical review of paperwork with appropriate departments/disciplines
- Monitor and report supplier performance toward completion of all deliverables in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and requirements of the Purchase Order
- Organise and prioritise a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Validate supplier invoices against payment milestones in the purchase order
