Project Hardware Coordinator.
The Project Hardware Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various hardware components, including part lists, physical part deliveries, and CAD components and drawings in strong collaboration with Japanese partner.
He/she ensure that all aspects are organized, tracked, and aligned with project timelines, milestones and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Part List Management: Compile, maintain, and update detailed part lists for the project, ensuring all components are accounted for, organized systematically and available when needed.
Physical Part Deliveries: Track, verify, and manage the timely delivery of physical parts. Liaise with Volvo/partner teams and suppliers to ensure correct quantities, quality and punctuality.
Organize and secure the repository of CAD parts are updated, ensuring that the latest versions are accessible to both local Volvo project team and Japanese team members
Drawing Coordination: Manage the distribution, revision, and storage of CAD drawings. Ensure that drawings are up-to-date, accurate, and comply with industry and project standards.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive records of all hardware components, CAD files, and drawings, including version history, specifications, and feedback.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and project managers at Volvo and Japanese partner to ensure alignment between CAD designs, physical parts, and project requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated and recommend process and tool improvements to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, or related field.
Prior experience in hardware coordination, procurement, project management or similar.
Proficiency in KOLA, Excel and experience of CAD software and PDM tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in English.
Experience in international collaboration, preferably with Japanese companies.
