Project Installation Manager

Take lead in the installation of our customer projects
Do you want to work directly in our core business being accountable and responsible for the installation of our delivery projects? If you have solid experience from independently driving large projects and are keen on an opportunity to utilize this competence, we have the right job for you. As part of the department Offshore Project Management you will be working in a global and dynamic environment leading the installation of our large, complex customer projects with a financial value up to 500 MEUR.
Drive and lead the installation scope
As Project Installation Manager you will lead the installation part of our projects, working with safety, quality, time and budget together with the installation project team. You will play a key role and be a part of the main project team reporting to the overall Project Manager. You will be the one taking responsibility for and coordinating all activities needed to deliver the installation package in the contract from start up, planning and preparation to execution and closure phase. This includes also engineering and testing. The responsibility that our installation operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and NKT HSE procedures is another key part of the role.
Besides the above your primary tasks will be:
Monitoring of changes and additional work for the installation part in accordance with customer contract
Responsible for installation risks and promote a transparency to best limit and manage risks in a proactive way within NKT in its entirety
Responsible for the specification of all needed sub-contractors due to installation including quality and HSE requirements
Responsible that installation, both qualitatively and quantitatively is carried out in the best possible way, taking into account the required time, resource and cost frames


You will be a part of our highly skilled Offshore Installation Team with placement in Karlskrona, United Kingdom or Rotterdam. Frequent travelling to installation sites is included in the role.
Communicative, experienced project manager with a self-going and driven attitude
To be successful in this role you have strong ability to handle installation projects of different size, and complexity as well as assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery in case troubled or challenging topics appearing.
Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders as well as building and maintaining strong relationships. In order to thrive and succeed you are a collaborative team player who is driven, self-going and service minded with a high technical interest and high sense of responsibility.
Additionally, your CV includes:
BSc degree preferably within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
Several years of experience from installation and operations onshore/offshore
Experience from project management in an international context
Fluency in spoken and written English, Swedish and/or German is beneficial
