Job Description


For a customer in an exciting and expansive phase we are looking for a New Product Introduction leader (NPI/Project Lead). As NPI/Project Lead you will support Operations to introduce new products in production.
You work task will include to:
Run projects based on NPI Directives in accordance with set processes. Making sure that the right quality of the project is delivered at the right time at the appropriate cost.
Secure the quality of introduced product based on a zero defects methodology by using industry standards such as AS13100, APQP and PPAP.
Control the everyday progress of the project by defining tasks and time plans.
Report regarding the project's result on a continuous basis to a steering committee
Improve the NPI process based on your experience and learnings by e.g. capturing lessons learned

If interested, possibility to dig deeper into planning of projects will also be part of the role. If you are interested to increase your leadership skills and get a deeper understanding of economy reporting and controlling - this is an excellent opportunity!
You will be part of the Industrial Architect and Projects organization, currently consisting of 14 experienced project managers.


Qualifications


To succeed in the role we believe you have a master's degree in a relevant field of engineering. You have preferably experience of project management and wish to develop in the field even further.
You are open and positive with a clear customer focus. You are motivated by reaching results and find satisfaction in reaching them as part of a team.
Your communication skills are excellent and since the customer work in an international environment professional proficiency in English is needed. Swedish is considered meritorious.
Due to the international environment, business travel may occur.

This assignment is part of The AFRY Future Graduate Program, a collaboration between AFRY and the customer. Having proven yourself and getting to know the customer during an initial 12 month temporary employment at AFRY, the intention is for the customer to offer a permanent employment at their organization.
