The Project Lead Engineering (PLE) organization is responsible for delivering gas turbine packages to our customers located all over the world. A part of our project portfolio is to supply function-critical new equipment to Oil & Gas customers. The complexity is often driven by high amount of engineering to order from customer specifications requirements or first-time application.

This is what we identify as our more complex order projects. Now we seek to extend our capacity of this team with a committed Project Lead Engineer!

As a Project Lead Engineer you will be responsible for bundling the project team efforts to fulfill all engineering obligations committed by the company, including those sub-contracted to external suppliers. Your contributions are therefore highly exposed and crucial in terms of Client satisfaction, quality, and project efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact
* To succeed in your mission, you effectively work to develop a positive project team spirit around common goals and achievements. By communicating in a very clear, open and proactive way, you are encouraging others to do the same.
* As a PLE you are responsible for deeper technical competence around our products and working methods. You represent Siemens Energy on your assigned project(s) in front of our customer.
* You manage and coordinate the engineering team working with the gas turbine package for the project assigned to you.
* Together with the project team, you define the scope of delivery based on the contract, you monitor the work with the aim of reducing risk exposure and creating opportunities for additional sales.
* In addition to this, you coordinate technology-related work between different manufacturing units for different parts of the delivery.

What You Bring
* Experience of leading electrical or mechanical engineering related to gas turbines or other rotating equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret customer contracts with deeper technical perspective and experience of engineering for Oil & Gas customers.
* Knowledge of some of the relevant industry standards and these customers practices.
* As a person, you are goal-oriented, responsible, and structured.
* You want to be involved in a developing organization in a role that has a direct impact on the supply chain to the customer.

About the Team

This team today is well composed of 10 people who work with leading technical project teams in electrical and controls engineering as well as mechanical engineering.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
