Project Leader

Project Leader to Operations & Shared Services in Helsingborg

We are now looking for a Project Leader to the Project Office in OSS. The Project Office houses the OSS Project Management resources and is responsible for leading pre-studies and projects within the OSS Project Portfolio as well as ensuring qualitative and efficient project management processes and methods. We also support other Business Solutions organisations with Project Management resources in Projects and Programs with a close connection to IT infrastructure.

The Project Leader is responsible for managing projects within OSS, take ownership for the assignments delivery, lead people through standard methods and processes to make everyone perform their best. This is naturally influenced by IKEAs values.

Is this your next challenge?
You will lead sub-projects, smaller enhancements or work streams within larger project managed by Project Manager. You need to plan and organize your assignment according to the IKEA decision model and applicable deliver methodology. We expect that you deliver your assignment within decided scope, time and cost frame, applying relevant project management techniques. You will manage and coordinate people from different units and cultures. We see that you are able to manage communication to relevant stakeholders. You are also able to manage dependencies and interfaces and identify, mitigate and manage risks within your project.

We see that you have some experience from leading assignments and a genuine interest to grow as a co-worker to become a Project Manager in some years.
You have a track record of delivering smaller activities and achieving business results. You have some competence in people management, understanding service management, IT processes and related delivery models.

As a person you have communication skills, good interpersonal skills, drive and integrity. You are result oriented and take ownership of your project. You are confident in your leadership and have the ability to see the whole picture. We expect that to share your skills and experience.
