Who you are
We are looking for an experienced colleague who has prior knowledge in Customer Fulfilment as well as strong change management and communication skills. You are an excellent networker and never lose sight of the big picture of initiatives and developments happening around you. You are solution-oriented and used to an agile project environment.
We also believe that you have a strong understanding of how the business operates. You are the main connection between the Sustainability project and the Customer Fulfilment teams, to ensure new data and measurement solutions are suitable for end users, fit into the totality of Climate Data and Measurement projects, and are integrated into the business decision-making processes.
You have skills and knowledge in the following areas:
• In-depth knowledge and experience from working within Customer Fulfilment
• Broad network within the business, preferably with global and country experience
• Good understanding of the IKEA landscape and relevant stakeholders
• Experience in project work with strong project skills preferably with deployment experience
• Leading business self-driven, well-structured and in a transparent manner
• Proven ability to lead change and strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical approach and ability to map potentials and key drivers
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will work cross-functionally by connecting a project anchored in Group Sustainability focusing on Climate Data and Measurement with the business owner, Customer fulfillment.
A first approach to measuring the emissions of customer deliveries has been developed and will be launched in September 2022 on a limited scope. This role is expected to verify and develop the given setting during and after roll-out as well as move it towards a new level by extending the scope and improving the data and measurement quality.
You will represent Customer Fulfilment to define the business needs, and contribute to the deployment, advancement, and enlargement of the climate measurement solutions together with the project, digital, communication teams, countries, and all relevant stakeholders.
You will:
• Define business requirements for the enlarged scope of measurement solutions, representing the business owners and users
• Join the Climate Data and Measurement project as a CFF business partner and lead the change management and communication package for customer deliveries
• Be responsible for the planning and preparation for the deployment of advanced solutions in the Climate Data and Measurement project for customer deliveries
• Anchor, support and follow up with relevant markets for pilots
• Co-create and anchor all activities with markets and key global stakeholders
• Secure roles, responsibilities, and processes are rolled out to secure running business after implementation
• Develop action plans for the identified key drivers to reduce emissions from customer deliveries. Support business in analyzing, benchmarking, and identifying potentials and actions to tackle them on the country level
This is a temporary position for 18 months with the possibility of extension. The preferred location is Malmö, Sweden. Nevertheless, remote work with some travel can be discussed.

The Climate Data and Measurement Project’s task is to develop measurements and elevate the ways to measure CO2 emissions in the Ikea business. Over time these data will enable users to take climate-positive actions and reach IKEA ambitions in accordance with our People and Planet Positive strategy. As a first step, it focuses on two businesses, one of them is Customer Fulfilment’s last mile delivery which runs a project to realize our ambition: 100% Zero Emission Deliveries in FY25. You will be employed in the Zero Emission Delivery project.
