The Global Technology Center (GTC) in Trollhättan are looking for a Project Leader within Digitalisation with deep interest in developing and building our Digital Factory of the Future.

GKN Aerospace Sweden AB, with 2000 employees, is located in Trollhättan Sweden. GKN Aerospace Sweden AB is a part of GKN Aerospace Engine Systems (“AES”). AES have 4,000 people working in 12 manufacturing sites in Sweden, Norway, USA and Mexico.
The Global Technology Center (GTC) have around 80 employees and is a part of GKN Aerospace Engine System. The GTC develop technologies and run development programs for product demonstration of new design concepts, often in the framework national and EU-programs together with OEM customers. The GTC competence spends over turbomachine design, product development, advanced material, manufacturing technologies and digitalisation.
We are located at GKN site in Trollhättan and we have our manufacturing laboratory at Innovatum in Trollhättan city, where you will be located.
Job description
As a Project Leader you have a desire for both planning, budgeting and execution in terms of completing project on time, within budget and scope. You will set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. You also prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project, and ensure that documentation is according to standard.
The work is performed jointly with your team colleagues, through internal technology development projects and in research projects often done in bilateral or multilateral collaboration with our GKN colleagues, industry and academic partners and customers.
Your profile
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Proven working experience in project management in an industrial environment
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent external and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience of agile way of working and agile tools is a plus
