Project leader Maintenance at Scania Industrial Establishment China
Do you want to be involved in ensuring reliable operations and at the same time be involved in building Scania's 3rd industrial hub in China? Then this might be for you.
At the moment, exciting work is underway to establish a new production facility in China. We are looking for several committed project leaders at Scania Industrial Maintenance. You will be part of an international dedicated project team of project leaders and engineers working together to perform and develop world-class maintenance for a new production facility in China.
Our scope is to establish a future Maintenance organization, setting the strategy and procurement of equipment for our central areas as well as supporting the procurement of our future production facilities.
We need to strengthen our team in two areas. One is to ensure central services at the start of production, such as Maintenance workshop, Spare part warehouse, and discarding area. The scope includes the requirements for buildings/equipment, building the right basis for future operations, including internal logistic handling and training for the organization. An important aspect is understanding the local requirements and legislation to achieve a complying and sustainable solution.
The other area is to support the machine investment process for different production units. Participate in the process from requirement specification, procurement, and evaluation of technical solutions until handing over the production equipment with all documentation and maintenance preparation ready.
We will in both roles work together with our Chinese colleagues in an international team.
Your profile
We are looking for you, who will strengthen the team with your personality and positive attitude. We believe that you have experience as a project leader or similar leader roles. You take great responsibility for your deliveries and you can easily collaborate with different parties and stakeholders.
We also see that you have:
- Relevant higher education in maintenance technology, industrial engineering, or industrial production.
- Good knowledge of maintenance strategies and knowledge of legal requirements, and environmental aspects.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas; machine investments, maintenance, spare part strategies, and recycling/discarding operations, is a merit.
- Good knowledge of English both in speech and writing
- Good general computer skills. Experience in Maintenance systems and Auto-CAD is a merit.

Your location
The positions are full-time until further notice and the location is in Södertälje. As parts of the project will take place in China, travel in the service and longer periods in China are included depending on the area in which you operate.
